In September of 2023, 8 dedicated members announced their willingness to serve and accept the responsibilities of Office as provided in the local Bylaws. Despite losing the 2023 re-election, Nominate8 has continued to organize and build power from the bottom up. We support members by centralizing important information that affects our work and promoting a better understanding of policy and contracts so that we can be better co-workers, better stewards, and a stronger union.
We believe the era of dominion over the rank-and-file member is over, and now is the time to build power and protect our members by advancing a new vision for our local through education, empowerment, and engagement.
